Once there was a mermaid queen that gave birth to a little girl, the king loved her so much, but for his little girl he gave her a mask to wear a hideous mask, she wore this mask all the time for no one can open it and see her face, the king had her ware this mask for only her true love can find the secrete that will open it, and only he can gaze upon her beauty, when she turned sixteen the age of when a mermaid can get married, she was so excited that she will finally find her true love and live happily ever after, many princes have tried to find the secret to open it, but they all failed, she was lonely and sad that she will not find her true love, she stayed in her room and cried , till one day as she was swimming through the sea, she saw a merman and for some reason she remembers seeing his face in a dream when she was younger, in his hand he held something strange that she has never seen before, it was so strange but beautiful, he was so handsome and charming he was not a prince but to her she did not care. She was in love he was perfect in every way, she knew in her heart that he was the one, but she also knew that her father would not approve of him, she did not want to swim up to him because her mask was hideous and thought that he would be frighten and swim away, so she sent her friend to him and told him to take these clothes and when you go to the palace say you are a prince from a far away Kingdome deep in the sea, that you have traveled through the sea for many days to make it here and to take off the mask and claim his princess, he told the girl that he did not want to lie , the girl told him that is the only way you can ever have the princes, only if you are a prince, and only if you can open the mask, he said ok he would so he put the clothes on they were so nicely made, the coat was made out of sea weed, beautiful shells and pearls. The crown she gave to him to wear was made out of pearls and gold, he felt like a prince. He swam to the Kingdome strait to the king and told him what the girl told him to say, the king nodded and pointed to the princess, a said if you can open this mask with ought breaking it then you can claim my daughter as your wife and become king of this Kingdome, he swam up to the princes and smiled he new the secret of how to open it, he had dreamed of it since he was a child, he toke the strange flower out of his pocket and gave it to the princes and told her your mask is so beautiful it dose not matter what you look like on the inside because I will love you always, attached to the flower was a diamond, she has never seen one before and only heard about them he took the diamond and on the side of the mask was a little hole he placed it within the hole and the mask opened, he grabbed the mask and took it off, the king yelled behold he has opened the mask, now gaze upon the beauty of my daughter, every mermaid and merman looked at her and they could not believe how beautiful she was her eyes were the bluest they have ever seen, he looked at her and she looked at him he grabbed her hand and kissed it and said my princess you your beauty is what brought me here, they got married and lived happily ever after.
