It is the first day of the new fall and a special person is moving to the little town Razven, Romania, the princess. The males of the town are very excited but none are as excited as the princess’s suitors.

Dominic, Phoenix, Marik and Lucian stand outside the black imperial carriage pulled by eight Frisian stallions. The door opens and out steps, Ivy with long blue-black hair and blue-green eyes dressed in a flowing ground length black silk corseted-dress. The men think she more then just their princess and potential wife, they think she is a goddess.

The men go to their knees but ivy insists they stand. She goes to each of her suitors to evaluate them. Dominic is the tallest man he has long black hair tied back with a leather thong. He has piercing green eyes and is very muscular. Phoenix and Lucian are identical twins they have short read spiked hair silver eyes and they are more muscular then Dominic. Marik is the shortest man being only a few inches taller the ivy. He is also the least muscled of the men. He has shoulder length blond hair and brown eyes. Out of the four men ivy likes marks Marik’s appearance the most so far.

A few days go by and Ivy befriends Aura, Marik’s sister and Raven their adopted sister. They spend a lot of time in the graveyard talking about her suitors but all they usually tell her is that they have been friends forever and are willing to do ANYTHING to be the one to marry her.

The girls go to the graveyard to talk and not long after Marik comes to look for them because there is a ball for Ivy in one hour and they all need to get ready. Ivy decides to ware the same dress she came to the town in. she helps Aura pick her dress, she was having a very hard time. She decides to ware a floor length red dress. Raven had no problem picking her dress. They all go over to the opera house where the ball is being held.

Ivy is announced and the dancing starts. Halfway through the night Ivy thinks she’s danced with every man in town. Marik comes over to her and leads her to the balcony. They talk for about and hour and share a kiss not knowing that someone was watching, and is now planning to remove his biggest competition.

After the dance was over Marik asked ivy to go to the graveyard in an hour. Dominic walked ivy home and talked with her for over an hour delaying her. After Dominic supposedly went home Ivy was finally free to go to the graveyard. Halfway there she ran into Dominic and one of the twins, she couldn’t tell which one it was because of the lack of light they said they just came from the spring looking for Aura, ivy hasn’t seen her since the dance. Ivy sees a red cloth in Dominic’s hand and asks what it is. He says its just Aura’s scarf its cold outside and he wanted to give it to her. Ivy leaves them continuing to the graveyard.

“I was at the graveyard hiding in the forest close by watching my brother. He told me he was going to ask ivy to forget about Dominic, Phoenix, and Lucian so he could start courting her properly. Ivy was late and Marik was starting to think she wasn’t coming. Not long after that I heard footsteps they were to heavy to be Ivy’s and one of my brother’s friends steps out. He calls out to Marik ‘remember when we said we’d do anything to get Ivy? Well I’m doing what I need to do to get her.’ Just like that my brother was gone. I have to tell Ivy. He looks over to where I was and smiled mouthing ‘run’. I ran not knowing or caring where I was going then I ran into the. My last thought before darkness took me was, they really are doing anything at any cost to get Ivy.”
