Do You Really Need to Leave?

I am doing my essay on, “Are there situations when the only answer is to leave?”

Relationships are the most common situations people leave. Reasons include abuse in the relationship or as in The Stone Angel people cannot stand each other. Bram and Hagar never liked each other and it took Hagar years and years to realize that she had a bad life and was very unhappy all because of Bram. I think that is a situation when the solution is to leave because the people most likely will feel better when they are not making each other miserable.

When people feel as if they are in the way or pointless, they sometimes feel as if they have to leave. Hagar left Marvin and Doris because she was getting in the way, making it hard for Doris and did not want to go to the nursing home. Either way she would have gone. I do not think leaving when you are a burden is the only solution because there are many ways to help with that kind of person.

This is my essay on, are there situations when the only solution is to leave a relationship or when you become a burden.
