Love From A Fallen Angel (Part 17)

"Yeah. I just need a little help with a zipper in the back." The door opened and in walked Andrew. You turned and held up your hair so he could close the zipper. He came up behind you and placed his hands on your back. They were warm, soft, and comforting. He felt your sides over your dress, looking for the zipper. He finally reached your lower back. He placed his hand over the zipper, which was conveniently placed just above your butt. He grabbed hold of the zipper and slowly closed it. After he finished, he placed his hands on your shoulders. You let go of your hair, letting it fall over your shoulders and back. He slid his hands down your arms and into your hands. He wrapped his and your arms around you, embracing you. You glanced behind you, seeing part of his face.
"I have something for you." He let do of you and walked out of the closet. You followed him to the closet door. He came back with a thin box in hand. "This was my mother's." He opened the box, and in it was an emerald necklace. One large emerald in the middle, one medium emerald on each side, two small emeralds on each side of those, and five tiny emeralds on each of those, all on a platinum chain.

You gasped in amazement. "Oh my God! It's gorgeous!!" You go to touch it, and he closes the box almost on your fingers, forcing you to laugh. He opens the box again, takes the necklace out, and fastens it around your neck. He guided your body in front of a mirror so you could see it on you.

"You look amazing." He whispered in your ear. He embraced you from behind, laying his hands on your stomach. You placed your hands over his, looking at him through the mirror.

"Thanks." You stared at each other in the mirror for God knows how long. Then, someone knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" Andrew asked, straightening up.

"Marik, sir. Your dinner is ready." he said as he opened the door.
"Thank you, Marik. We'll be down in a moment." Marik left, leaving the door open. "We'd better go to dinner." Andrew said.
“Yeah, I guess." You turned to look at him. He was smiling.
What a beautiful smile. You thought. He took your hand and guided you to the door.

You finally got to the dining room to find that you weren't the only one dining with Andrew tonight.

Sitting at the table were his very much alive parents. You got closer to him and whispered, "You never said your parents would be here."
"My dad and his new wife are here for dinner every Friday. They’re under the impression that I'm still alive. Please don't mention anything about death or anything to do with dead things, OK?"
"Kay." You finally reached the table. Andrew pulled out a chair for you, you sat, and he pushed you in.
"And who is this lovely lady?" His father asked. Now you knew where Andrew got his looks from. He looked almost exactly like his dad, only his father had green eyes, not brown.
"Ivy. She's..... a guest here." Andrew hesitated.
"Well, she must be more then a guest if she is wearing your mother's clothing and jewellery." His father glared at you.
"Oh, Eric, stop." The woman next to him said, "She looks absolutely beautiful in Brieanne's old things."
"Thank you." You said.
"You're very welcome, dear. I'm Rachel. It's very nice to meet you, Ivy."
"Likewise." You smiled at her.

Music begins playing in the background. You look around and spot an orchestra and band off in a corner playing. You liked it. Servants came in the dining room and brought the food to the table. There was steak, roast turkey, BBQ chicken, salads, mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, baked beans, and much more. You all begin eating.
"So, Andrew," Eric began, "Where did you find this girl, exactly?"
"New York. She wanted to see the castle, so I flew her over." Andrew replied while chewing on a piece of chicken.
"So, you bring every random girl on the street to the castle?" Eric asked, obviously ticked.
"No, dad. I've known her for a while."
"How long?"
"A few weeks."

"Why haven't I heard anything about this girl?" Eric ripped his steak with his teeth.
"I don't tell you everything that goes on in my life, dad." Andrew furiously cut his chicken.
"Boys, relax." Rachel intervened, "This is dinner, not war. I'm sorry for the way they're acting, Ivy. They don't get along well. Why don't you tell us about yourself?"
I was kidnapped by a fallen angel and I don't know when I'm going home.
"I'm a gynaecologist at New York Memorial. I normally work there non-stop, I'm lucky I got time off to see this amazing architectural wonder." You looked around the dining room while saying the last part.
"It' is beautiful, isn't it?" Eric asked.
"Yeah." Andrew replied. The room was silent except for the music for the rest of dinner.
