Love From A Fallen Angel (Part 13)

"OK." He took you to the study straight down the hallway. He opened the door, let you in and left, closing the door behind him. It was huge. The floor was made of white speckled marble, the walls the same brick as your bedroom. There was a vast library, bookshelves as high as the ceiling covering all the walls, all filled to capacity. There was a table of ten laptops, a black grand piano, and several areas to sit. You walked over to the piano and started playing Canon in D, the easy piano solo version. It calmed you to play. You haven't played for so long, you could barely remember which keys were which. You played it twice, all the way through. After doing so, you heard a clapping coming from the door. You looked and there were the servants.
How long have they been there? You thought blushing. You recognized Marik and Angela in the crowd. They were both glaring at you intensely. You could understand why Angela was, but why Marik? What did he have to do with your predicament?
"Play again!" one of the servants randomly shouted.
"Yeah! Play it again!!" another cried. They all clapped in agreement, except Marik and Angela, who remained unmoving, unchanged.

You played again. The servants cheered and left to their jobs around the castle. The last to leave were Angela and Marik, now looking calm and cheerful, instead of evil and sneering. The door of the study was closed, and you were left all alone in the room.

You walked over to one of the laptops and signed onto your e-mail. You had two new messages. One from Kat, saying she's little worried that you haven't called, but she trusts that you will when you feel better. You shake your head and laugh. You sign on to your IM. Kat was online.

Ivy81: Hi Kat.
Katbelle: Ivy! Yay!! Are you feeling OK?
Ivy81: I'm OK.
Katbelle: I'm coming over.
