collapsed. The loss of all that blood had made too weak to even walk now. You where inches from freedom, and you couldn't make it. Then, the door opened. In the doorway was a tall dark figure.

"Are you alright?" It asked. It sounded like a woman. She stood in the light, and she looked familiar, but you couldn't place her. She wore a pink and white colonial dress.
"Please, help me." You pleaded.
"Angela got to you, didn't she? You poor thing. Come with me." She helped you up and dragged you out into the open field.
"OK. You'll be safe here as long as it's daylight." she said.
"Who are you?" You asked.
"I'm Midori. Angela's older sister. You must stay..."
"Wait? Midori, the demon that attacked me in the elevator?"
"One and the same, but I wasn't always a demon. C'mon. There's a shed not too far from here. I'll care for you there and explain everything that I can."
"Alright." You let her take you to the shed and tend to your wound.

Midori took you to the shed, where she tended to your wound and made you something to drink.
"Here. Drink this. It'll give you your energy back." She handed you a saucer of thick red liquid. You drank of it deeply. It was warm and tasted salty. The taste disgusted you.
"Uugggg. What is this?" You asked, giving Midori back the saucer.
"A mixture of elixir and my blood." She began to wash off the dish.
"Blood!?" You sat up, "Do you have any idea what you've done!!?"
