Sienna's bare feet slipped down the cold wooden stairs, her winter PJ's were still in the wash so she wore her hot pink short shorts and white long sleeved top that looked as if it was inside out but that was just the style of it. Her blonde chin length hair kept her ears warm but the rest of her was freezing cold. The sounds from downstairs that had woken her up were becoming louder as she got closer to the ground, she walked softly careful not to make any noise.

As Sienna reached the bottom step she saw a masked figure unplugging the sound system. It looked up and stared right at her, "I thought you said this house was empty!" the masked man said, it was now that Sienna noticed another person behind them, "I thought it was!" this voice was obviously one of a female.

The house was supposed to be empty, Sienna's parents went out for the weekend and she was supposed to go with them but she began to feel sick so she stayed home, she had spent nights alone in the house before but nothing like this had ever happened. 

She was terrified that she was in danger so she edged over to the kitchen bench that was about 2 meters away from the staircase. She grabbed a small knife, but did not do anything else, she just stood there with the knife in her hand unsure what to do.

The male thief began walking towards Sienna, "I... uh, STAY BACK!" she squealed, "come on, we need to go!" the female warned her partner. "no, not until I sort this little problem out." he said glaring at Sienna, "Don't hurt her she hasn't done anything!"the woman began to panick as if she thought he would hurt Sienna, this made her begin to worry. Sienna gripped the knife tighter, he came close, so close that she panicked, she thrust the small knife in his chest just deep enough to pierce his heart, she then pulled it out as fast as she could and began to run upstairs fearing that the woman would chase after her but instead she turned to the window that they broke into and disappeared into the night.

Sienna sat on her bed afraid to move, she looked down at her blood stained hands, 'What have I done?' she thought to herself, she couldn't even remember where she had put the knife. All night she sat there afraid to fall asleep.

The next day the doorbell rang, but Sienna was still to shocked to move, she heard someone faintly calling her name, "Sienna, Sienna! your mother wanted me to check on you." It was her next door neighbor, Kaeira. 

Kaeira was only about 17, she had bright red hair that seemed to suit her fiery personality. She liked wearing greens that matched her eyes.

"Open up short stuff!!!" she would often call Sienna this, not to be mean, just to have a bit of fun. Kaeira began to open the front door, "Hope you don't mind, your mum gave me a key." she said while unlocking it. Sienna heard the front door opening and about a 3 second pause then a loud scream... the body of the robber was still down there.
