"I'm taking over the ship!"

These five words seemed to echo through the captains mind, his so called most loyal crew member had betrayed him. He sat frozen with fear as Arabell lunged foreword dagger in hand. Her fiery red hair flicked behind her and the tassels on the leather belt she wore seemed to whip the air about her.

By the time the captain could move the dagger was already at his throat, "Do you have any objections?" she hissed so close that he could feel her cold breath on his ear. Before he could get a single word out she had already began to speak "I didn't think so... now where's the map?"

The captain was amazed  Arabell was capable of such betrayal, she had been a member of their crew for 3 years now, she first joined them when she was 12  and even at that age she was more skilled than all of the pirates on that ship, in fact she was probably more skilled than all of the pirates in that region.

Arabell had always been so devoted to the crew and the captain, it was not uncommon for her to cook for them. Her speed was unmatchable and her accuracy with her daggers was amazing. She was of average strength and her sharp tongue had always served her well.

"B... but Arabell" he managed to stutter "how? why?" so many questions ran through his mind how long had she been planning this? had she been playing him all along? did his crew know?

"How, why... that's all you can ask? You're pathetic, you're weak and useless, this ship will thrive with me in command!" She pushed the dagger slightly harder against his throat but still not hard enough to inflict any wound.
