Jake looked at his alarm clock. The green lights read 9:15pm. He changed his clothes and threw himself to the bed. Diana came into the room and lay next to Jake.  Jake put his arm around her and hugged her tightly.  Diana sighed and tried to sleep. She knew she would be unable to do so. Actually, nobody that was at the Johnson’s house would get to sleep that night.  All of them were too shook up about what had happened the night before and an unwanted visitor was going to knock on their door.

                At 9:45, something hit the front door hard. Johnny stood up quickly and moved to the front door with a bat Jake had used when they were in a baseball team ten years ago.

-“Who’s there?” – Asked Johnny trying not to sound too scared.

                When the answer he received was another blow at the door, Johnny asked again:

-“Who the f*ck is there?! I’m not kidding!!! I’ve got a weapon…these are dangerous times to be making jokes…” – Johnny’s voice broke when a third time something hit the door.

                Stephanie, Diana and Jake had woken up and were coming down the stairs. Johnny grabbed the phone and dialed 911.

-“This is so not f*cking funny! I’m calling the police!” – Yelled Johnny.

                Stephanie hugged Jake trembling. Another blow straight to the door.

-“This is amazing.” – Said Johnny joining Stephanie, Diana and Jake on top of the stairs. –“There’s no freaking answer at 911!”

-“Keep trying.” – Said Jake.

Johnny pressed the redial button. Another blow at the door.  Stephanie started crying and threw herself at Jake’s arms.  Jake carried his sister and walked into his room. Diana and Johnny followed him.  No answer from 911. Another blow at the door.

-“We have to open one of the windows.” – Said Jake.-“We need to find a way out, before whatever is at the door finds a way in…”

-“I hear you dude.” – Said Johnny giving the phone to Stephanie. –“Steph, I need you to take the phone and keep redialing so Diana and me can help Jake unblock the windows. Can you do it?”

                Stephanie nodded still with tears on her eyes and pressed redial again. Johnny smiled at her and ran to the windows, where Jake and Diana where trying to break the wooden planks that covered Jake’s  bedroom windows. When the planks finally were out, a loud smashing sound came from downstairs. A long howl came right after the smashing sound. Jake peeped through the window to make sure nothing was waiting for them right outside his window. When he saw that there was nothing there, he opened the window. Diana was putting one foot outside when the door of the room burst open.  

A huge creature stood there on its hind legs. It must have been almost seven feet tall with reddish hair all over its body. It had a long snout with a pink tongue and perfect white teeth sticking out of the mouth.  It had long legs that ended in huge paws with nails fitting for a paw of that size. The werewolf smelled like a mix between cologne and wet dog. The werewolf stood straight and sniffed the air. It gave a long howl anticipating his meal. The howl was responded by another right behind it. There were two of them. The second one, had ashy hair and was a little bit smaller than the first one.

Jake reacted quickly. He pushed Diana out of the window and called Stephanie. Stephanie stood frozen with the phone still in her hands, she was the one closest to the werewolves. The werewolves salivated in anticipation, and the reddish one jumped right towards Stephanie.
