The water sounded beautiful as it flowed on shore. AJ continued to draw pictures and have a conversation with Steph. "Drawing helps me express things that words can't", says AJ looking down at the drawing pad. "Same thing with music. When I'm usually having a hard day, I go home and play my guitar", says Steph looking out into the water. "I would love to hear you play one day". "Yeah, one day", says Steph as she lays back on her towel and look up at the sky. "How about today", asks AJ as he lays down beside her. Steph looks over at AJ who is looking at her and smiling. His teeth are perfectly white. "You know you have the most beautiful smile", says Steph. "Thank you and so do you". AJ slides in a little closer to Steph and puts his right hand on her cheek. Steph rubs the backside of his smooth hand. AJ moves in closer until his warm lips are touching Steph's lip. They begin to kiss. AJ rolls over on top of Steph as they continue to kiss. Steph hears whistling from other people at the beach and pushes AJ off of her. "I'm sorry AJ, but I got to go", says Steph getting up quick and folding her towel. "What, why Steph"? AJ jumps up and tries to stop Steph. "We're moving way to fast". "All we did was kiss Steph, it's not like we had sex or anything". "Kisses lead into other things". "I'm sorry okay, I'm sorry for kissing you". Steph looks at AJ was looking very concerned at her. She sighs and walks closer to him. "I'm just overwhelmed and I like you so much". "I like you to Stephanie". "But I don't want to move to quickly into this AJ, do you understand that". "Yeah I understand, but can you at least stay a little longer"? "I can't, I have to go". "Why"? "My mom is leaving for work early". "Well can I walk you home this time". "Yeah".

AJ and Steph walked on the sidewalk shoulder to shoulder. "Steph, why didn't you have a boyfriend", asks AJ? "That surly was a out of the blue question", says Steph. "Why do you say that"? "Because you come out of nowhere and ask me that". "Well I just want to know". Steph laughs and looks down at her feet. "My boyfriend of three years and I broke up two months ago". "Why"? "Our relationship just didn't have our lit candle anymore". AJ stops and looks at Steph...
