At the end of the day, Lexie was at her locker lookin in the mirror she had in there. Suddenly someone walked up behind her. "Hey Lexie"

She turned around to see...Keith Rhodes standing in front of her holding a clipboard. "Hey Keith, what's up", she says. "Just chillin basically, I have this petition that I would like for you to sign", he says. "What's it for", asks Lexie? "We want to have a homecoming dance and the principal is trying to ban it this year". "Oh no, I'll love to sign it". Lexie reaches in her back pocket and pulls out her pen. She signs the petition and hands Keith back the clipboard. "Thanks gorgeous", flirts Keith. "Your welcome". Lexie closes her locker and walks outside of the school.

She sees Amanda walking home. She runs to catch up with her. "Hey Amanda". "Oh hey Lexie, did you get to talk to him". "No, I didn't see him anymore after that". "Well you will see him Monday when we go back to school". "I hope so...are you going to Naomi's party tomorrow night"? "I was, are you". "Yeah, I said I was". "Well I'll come and get you around 7:35". "Alright, I hope Quentin will be there". "You really like him don't you Lexie"? "Yeah"

"Well I'll see you tomorrow", says Lexie as she runs up her house steps. "Alright, bye", says Amanda as she continues walking down the street to her house.

"I'm home", yells Lexie as she walks in the house. "In here baby", says her mother named Katie. Lexie walks into the kitchen. Katie was washing dishes, her little brother was on the floor playing with his alphabet block. "Hey momma". "Hey baby, how was school". "It was cool, we got a new student today". Lexie stands beside her mom smiling very hard. "What's his name"? "What are talking about"? "I know that smile". "His name is Quentin and he's the new boy". "You hooked up with the new boy"? "No...I just like him". "Does he know"? "No and I don't plan on telling him". "So...is this Quentin gonna be at that party tomorrow night"? "I don't know, I hope so". "Well don't go dressing like a little whore to impress him". "I won't momma, I'm not like that anyway". "Yeah right, but what happened to your other boyfriend". "I'm through with him". "I told you that boy didn't look like he was right for you". "I should have listened to you, instead of making a fool of myself". "You never try to listen to me". "Whatever". Lexie walks over to her little brother and starts playing with him. "You know your father is coming home Sunday". "Yeah I know". "I'm gonna leave you two alone for some father-daughter time". "Why, I don't even want to be on the same planet with him, let alone the same house". "You have to Lexie". "I don't have to, but I'll stay". "Junior and I are going to go out that day with the baby".

Lexie's father and mother got a divorce three years ago. Her mother caught her father cheating her.

Her mother met a new guy named Junior. A couple months after dating, her mother became pregnant. Junior and her mother married two months after the baby was born.

"Well let me go change into something comfortable", says Lexie as she gets up and walks out of the kitchen. Before she made it up the stairs, the door bell rings.

She walks back down the stairs and opens the door. She couldn't believe who was right there at her house. "Hey Lexie".....
