Training that night went quick. I think sensi felt the tension in my body because during break he asked me what was the matter. I knew that he could easily see through my flimsy lies so i gave up quickly and tired to explain my thoughts and problems.

"I see." he replied cooly. "You know that silar wont stop right? no matter how happy and settled you are?"

"yes"i heaved out feeling crushed that no one understood the desperation to jsut be done with this life.

"but i know bry-san how you feel. you think i train this mans student, these people that kill for money, willingly? i do not. i crave for a family and alife away from this chaos. But i just know better then to wish for impossible things. We can jsut let things be and always have to hide forever in the shadows not truley living our lives, or we can die trying to defend our right of being an independent people with an option of the life they want to live. There is nothing but heart ache in the first option. I choose to die trying."

sensi gave my hand a quick reassuring squeeze and then spoke to jem "we begin wrestling tonight!"

it was an hour later that jem had me in a head lock and i was pretty near total exhastion. In a last ditch effort i bucked my body and flipped him over my back. I scrambled to get a pin on him. I felt Jemwriggling beneath my hold and thats when i saw it. The birthmark behind his left ear. I let go and stood up.

"your that boy... from 11 years ago." was this a coincidence? I looked at jem and he seemed to be in total confusion. I guess his talents didnt include an awesome memory. "the day you learned i-key jitsu wrestling? i was the little gilr that watched you. i sat by the window and wathed you and sensi."

realization dawned in his eyes, but went as fast as it came. "so?"

"we have met before!"

"and..."

"do you think that is a coincidence?

"how can it not be? your looking into this too much. your exhasted and need to just relax."

"yeah your right. Isnt it funny? such a small world." i let out a nervous laugh. I could have sworn i heard jem under his breath say "no quite."

Before i could ask him anything i heard glass shatter from a distance. Sensi stood up quickly and closed the rice doors. He silently pointed to a side door and Jem and i just looked at each other understanding clear in all three pairs of eyes; silar had found us.
