Vampires Can't Fall In Love (14)

Startled, the drunk man grabbed me by my arms and pulled me up in front of him like a hostage, holding the broken glass at my throat. He was facing the alley where the shadow of a man could be seen.

“Wh-Who are you?” the man stammered. I noticed he was shaking as he spoke. I could probably get away from him if I tried.

“Take your hands off the young lady,” the mystery man spoke again. He had a deep, husky voice. It sounded sort of familiar.

“And what if I don’t?” he said, acting cocky. I knew he was only trying to sound tough.

A slight chuckle echoed throughout the alley.

“Show yourself!” He was angry now.

The mystery man emerged from the shadows of the alley, slowly walking towards us. He had long, silky black hair that stretched down his back. He looked kind of tall, and he was really pale; paler than the moon. He was about fifteen feet away from us when he finally spoke.

“Let her go, now,” he said as he was still walking towards us.

“Or else what?” He held me tighter, almost piercing my skin with the glass.

“Or else this will get very ugly,” he smirked. He was only seven feet away now.

“You think you scare me?” He was trying to sound tough again. “Come any closer and I’ll slice her neck.”

The next thing I saw was a blur coming towards us, and before I could realize what was going on I was on the ground holding myself up with my hands. There was screaming coming from behind me; a man’s screaming. I turned around and the mystery guy was sucking at the drunk’s neck. The glass was on the ground lying beside me. I thought about picking it up when suddenly I remembered who that man was.

To all my wonderful fans who have supported me with this story im sorry, but I will no longer be posting “Vampires Can’t Fall In Love.” I’m working really hard right now trying to finish my story “Which Side Are You On” so I can get it published (hopefully) and its really hard for me to work on 2 stories at the same time when im trying to be completely focused on “WSAYO” its also hard to find time to write both of them b/c of school. =( im really sorry guys. I will still continue to write it when I do have time and also im changing it. Im rewriting everything ive got written so far, mainly the beginning so it wont be so jumbled together and confuse ppl so much. And I also want to change the parts that just seem too weird, its not what I wanted. And the story doesn’t seem to make sense either. Anyway, the whole thing just doesn’t sound the way I want it to so I will be rewriting all of it and when I do ill start posting it again. Until then im sorry…I really loved all ur comments and rates. Ur support was really awesome! XD and to any of you who still want me to keep you updated when I start posting again, plz send me a msg or a comment on MY page, not on this page. K? and thx again. Also sorry for all my rambling lol =D
