Which Side Are You On? *Part 24*

"Aww, poor, poor little Sovira. Now you’re here all alone," Damien laughs. "Karamys, you want to play with her?"

"No. I think we’ve had enough fun," Karamys replies.

"Karamys! You’re a dirty fucking liar! I’ll kill you!" Sovira screams at Karamys as she stands back up on her feet and charges for him.

She started waling on him. She kept punching and punching him in his chest, but he just stood there taking it like it was nothing.

"A beautiful girl like you shouldn’t cry, Sovira. Look, this had to be done. It was for your own good," Karamys says.

"How can you say that?! You heartless monster!"

"No, love. Syth is the monster. This had to be done."

"Damien! Karamys! Leave her alone! Sovira, come here!" Ahx yells angrily at Damien and Karamys.

He was standing in the doorway that Sovira had come through.

"Ahx!" Sovira yells with relief, running towards him, but Damien stuck his arm out to hold her back.

"She is ours now," Damien says.

"Damien, let her go or this will get uglier than you want for it to!" Ahx yells.

"Karamys, you don’t mind if I have a little fun with my cousin, do you?"

"Let her go, Damien. You’ve done enough. You have had your fun for one day," Karamys orders.

"Fine!" Damien pushes Sovira vigorously towards Ahx.

"Good boy, Damien. Follow your masters orders," Ahx mocks with a chuckle.

"Leave now!" Karamys yells at Ahx.

Ahx glares at Karamys while walking over to Syth’s lifeless body on the wall. He pulls the bars out of Syth and throws him over his shoulder. Ahx and Sovira start heading out the door then Karamys says something else.

"This isn’t over Ahx."

"Don’t worry. I have something to settle with you Karamys. It’s too soon to be over. I’m gonna put you through so much worse of a hell than what you put me through," Ahx replies very angrily in a vile tone without even taking a single glance in Karamys’s direction.

They finally leave his mansion and head back to Ahx’s.

"Why aren’t you like…bawling over Syth’s death? I know you’re a guy and you have to be tough and all, but he’s your brother. Don’t you feel anything?" Sovira asks.

She was sitting in a chair in Syth’s room. Ahx had laid Syth down in the and pulled the covers over him as if he were sleeping. Well, I guess in a way he is sleeping, but it’s just weird to put a dead guy in his bed. Demons do things differently I guess. Way differently. I wonder if they have funerals, and how their funerals are. Sovira thinks to herself.

Ahx just ignores what Sovira says to him and instead he answers her thoughts and says, "There will be no funeral. There is no need for one."

"So demons don’t have funerals?"

"No, we do, but right now isn’t the time for one."

"What do you mean? Too busy?" Sovira asks confused, furrowing her brows.

"No, it’s Syth. I assure you he isn’t dead."

"Syth is alive?!" Sovira yells thrilled yet baffled.
