"Mm…ugh," Sovira wakes up.
She’s laying in a king size bed with soft sheets an a cozy blanket made from Egyptian cotton. She sits up and sees she’s in a big bedroom with crimson colored walls, a black fluffy carpet which looked to be as soft as a puppy. There where pictures on the walls. Most showing a landscape which she figures is probably of this house. The other pictures were of fruits and flowers. There were none of the people that live here. The furniture was covered with gold flowery material. It looked like a grandmother had picked it out. The curtains were black with red swirlies on them.
There were three doors. I’m sure one is the bathroom, one the closet, and the other leads out of this room. But where am I? She glances down at the her skin where she was stabbed, remembering the fight. She places her hand lightly over the spot she was hit, but nothing was there. She felt skin. It was as if it were all a dream. But Sovira was smarter than that. She knew it wasn’t just a dream. It was real. It did happen. All of it happened. If it was all really was just a dream she would be laying happily in her own bed. She would be getting ready for another day at school, or another two-day weekend. She’d be smelling her mother’s hot coffee, her father’s cologne. She would be spending all the time she could with Markus, and talk to her best friend, Karin, on the phone about boys and other girl-type things. She wouldn’t feel the pain of death in her heart. The anger and the strong will to just get up and fight against something she has never believed in. Something she has never known. But whether she wanted it or not, this was her life now and she has come to accept that. She will do everything in her will, everything in her power to stop this killer and make sure she is the last person he ever toys with again.
She steps out of bed and realizes she isn’t wearing what she was when she passed out. She was in a long, red, silk gown that stretched down to her ankles. She walks over to one of the doors and opens it up. It was the closet just as she thought. It was a huge walk-in closet filled top to bottom, side to side with gorgeous clothes. She walks in and searches through the palace of clothes, as she calls this miraculously large closet. She finds a black and blue plaid skirt which falls just a little above her knees, a white tank top with a small black half-jacket with elbow-length sleeves, and simple black flip flops. She exits the closet and opens another door. This time she found the bathroom. She didn’t need to use the bathroom for anything so she closed it back, but as she did she heard the click of another door closing. She turns around to find Karamys standing there.
"I see you’re finally awake," he spoke.
