Which Side Are You On? *Part 11*

"Ugh..Is it morning already?" Sovira says as she opens her eyes to the bright sunlight shining through her window.

"You could say that," Says a young male's voice.

"Who?" She leans up to see Syth standing by the window holding the curtain back letting the sunlight through. "You!"

"I didn't think you'd want to sleep all day," he says and smiles. "I brought breakfast, or brunch considering that it's already 11:00. Don't worry, I didn't wake up but an hour ago."

"Breakfast?" She says and looks up at his pale face.

"Don't worry," he smirks, "I don't mean you." He points to the food on the table.

"Of course." She gets up out of bed and sits down by the food.

"Enjoy," he says and starts to leave.

"Wait, Syth." He stops and turns his head back around to look at her. "Will you join me?"

He smiles, "Of course," he sasy and walks over to sit with Sovira. "About last night-"

"It's alright. I understand. Ahx told me everything." Sovira says and thinks about what he said about Syth being different from most demons. Should I ask?

"Ask what?" Syth asks.

"You're a mind reader too?"

"I'm much more than that," he says and smirks.

Sovira gets chills after he says that. Should I ask?

"Go ahead, it won't hurt."

"Ahx told me if I knew it would frighten me to be around you." Is it that bad? She thinks to herself.

"Is it? Just spit it out."

"Maybe another time. I already get the chills from being around you."

They both laugh. They talk and share the food with each other until it's all finished.

"I see Ahx gave you the crystal amulent," Syth says.

"Yeah," she says touching the necklace around her neck.

"Are you ready to go? I'll let you get dressed."

"Okay."

"I'll tell the others you're leaving."

"How will we keep in touch besides me using this crystal thing?"

"I'm sure we'll see each other soon. Oh, one more thing. You're invited to my birthday party in two months. It's November 12. My birthday is on the 11th. And the 12th is a Sunday."

"Sunday?"

"Yeah, I know. In your world, Sunday is the day you worship your god. Well, you have a choice."

"No, I'll be there," She says and smiles. "Wait, Syth. What-"

"Wednesday, September 20," he says answering her question that she didn't even ask yet. She was going to ask for the date today, but I guess he already knew that by reading her mind. "You better get home. Oh, and Hermione brought your clothes up here. They're in the bathroom. See ya later."

"Bye."

He leaves the room. She goes to the bathroom and grabs her clothes and lays them on the bed. She closes the bedroom door and gets changed. She grabs her other clothes that she bought here and sits down on the bed. She wraps her tiny little fingers around the amulent holding it tightly as she thinks about her bed in her house and being there. Then moments later she is sitting in her very own bed again. She sits there for a while glancing around her room. Am I really home? It feels like forever. Just then the phone started to ring. I wonder who it is! She thinks, jumping up to her feet to grab the phone.

"Yello?" She answers.

"Uh..hello? Is Sovira there?" A women's voice says through the phone.

"Yeah, it's me. Who is this?"

"This is your counseller, Mrs.Shelby calling. I wanted to know if you are okay. You've missed quite a bit of school. Is this about Karin? If it is I completely understand. And if you need anyone to talk to I'm always here."

"I'm fine. I'm just not feeling well. I think I'm still sick from that night at the fair. It was very windy. I should be back tomorrow though."

"If you need, you can go ahead and take the rest of the week off."

"Thank you."

"Well, get to feeling better, okay?

"Thanks, bye."

"Buh, bye."

They hang up. Now I need to find my parents. Oh, I miss them so much! Sovira thinks as she gets up and leaves her room and walks into the hallway. She goes into the living room first, nobody's there. Then into the kitchen, nobody's there. Then into her parents room, and still nobody. She then looks in the bathrooms and all the other rooms and finds no one there but herself. Where could they be? They must be worried. Maybe I should look around town. I'll call their cell phone first. She says grabbing the phone and dialing the digits to her parents cell.

*ring....riing....riing...riiing*

No one's answering. She thinks to herself while hanging up the phone. She decides to go into town making Wal-Mart her first stop. She looked everywhere in the building and outside, but they weren't there. She goes to K-Mart and a few other stores having no luck and then it hits her. They're at work! I need to go back home and call them again.

"Hey! Uh...Sovira, right?" Says a young man.

"Huh.." She turns around, "Oh! Hi Karamys! That's your name, isn't it? And yes, it's Sovira."

"Good. So where are you headed?"

"Home. I'm looking for my parents. It feels like forever since I've seen them. Right now they're at work though."

"Forever? Can I ask you to wait just a little longer? I wanted to make up for the first day we met."

"At the park? It's okay, Karamys. I forgive you, but-"

"Please? I feel like such a creep since I did that. How is your arm?"

"My arm feels fine. You didn't hurt me. You really don't need to worry, but if it will make you feel better about that day then sure, I'll wait longer. They're at work anyway. So what did you want?"

"Good. I wanted to take you out to eat. Maybe get to know you."

"Sure, that sounds cool. Where to?"

"How about my place? I can cook."

"You can cook? That's amazing. Most guys don't know how. Alright. I'm up for it."

He smiles at her answer. Greatful that she said yes. They walk to his place which takes about fifteen minutes. Wow, he also lives in a mansion. She thinks while looking up to a dark haunted looking mansion.
