Which Side Are You On? *Part 7*

"I..am..so..sorry. I should've told you he was here and that he does things like this. Well, now you've met Syth," she says and gives Sovira a bright smile.

Sovira smiles back. "Yeah, let's look to the bright side of Syth seeing me completely naked, shall we?" She says sarcastically and glares at Sariin.

"Heh..Sorry?" Sariin tries to look innocent.

"That's not going to work. Well, let's just go. I'm gonna go back upstairs to get dressed."

"Alright. Hurry up though. It's almost 9:30. We'll only have about twenty minutes to shop."

Sovira goes upstairs and changes, then heads back downstairs to meet Sariin back in the dining room. They leave and go to their first store, Harloona's Palace.

"This is one of the best stores here. Just pick out one outfit you like and then I will buy it for you," Sariin says.

"You're gonna buy it? I have money you know."

"That's fine. I'll pay. You'll understand," she says and smiles.

"I guess," Sovira says while looking through a bunch of shirts. "Wow, I've never seen any of these shirts before. I bet no one'll be wearing these at school!"

"I bet they won't either."

"Ooo! I like this one!" Sovira says picking out a black corset looking shirt with red lacing down the middle and back of it, and white frilly material on the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt.

"Yeah, that's pretty. Why don't you try it on?"

"I need to find pants now." Sovira hurries over where the pants are. "Hey! Look at this! It's so neat! I want it." She says, holding up a pear of black jeans with blue lining on the pockets and blue and purple patches all over, and on the bottom there is a 3 1/2 inch blue streak that goes all the way around with purple lacing, and it also has purple material on the bottom sides on each pant leg.

"Wow! I've never seen that one in here before. Wish I would've seen it first," says Sariin.

"Well, if you're not going to try it on then let's pay for it. It's getting late anyway," Sariin says walking over to the cash register and laying the clothes down on the counter.

"Wow, late bloomers, huh?" The young woman behind the counter said.

She kept going on about something and then Sariin said something to her. It seemed Sariin knew the girl. Harloona seemed to be her name, but Sovira was too busy focusing on the red haired guy in the corner of her eye. She felt like he had been watching her, but for how long? She quickly turned her head to see who it was but as soon as she did he was gone. Maybe it's just my imagination she thought.

"That'll be $86.96," the clerk said.

"Are you sure? That's a lot of money, Sariin. I can pay," Sovira says turning back around to face them.

"It's alright, Sovira. You're a friend. Let's just call it a welcoming gift," Sariin says and winks at Sovira.

She pulls out her wallet and pays with purple and red papers. Come on, Harloona's gotta be blind if she doesn't notice it's fake. Sovira thinks to herself. Harloona takes the money and puts it in the cash register which had even more weird colored money. It's money!? Where am I? This isn't home. School that's only four hours and ends at 9:30, stores I've never heard of, clothes I've never seen, and weird colored money? Something's going on. I want to go home.

"Hello? Are you in there?" Sariin jokes and knocks on my head. "Let's go."

"Sorry, yea I'm ready." They walk out of the store and into the dark night.

"Wow. I can't believe it's 10:00 already. Ahx should be home by now," Sariin says.

"Where was he when we left?"

"He went to pick up his sister, Hermione."

"Oh, from school....Hey, Sariin?"

"Yeah? What is it?"

"How far from home am I?"

"We're not too far, just ten more minutes and we'll be there."

"No, I mean my home."

"Oh, your home. Well, ugh..really far away, but you will have to talk to Ahx about that. When we get back you can change and then I'll take you to his room, okay?"

"Okay, I guess."

"But don't worry. You're safe here, Sovira. I promise. And once you and Ahx talk I'm sure he will take you home so you can see your parents, and everything will be fine. Ahx is a good guy. He's changed. Not like he used to be, but that's a story for another time. Oh, and if you feel like you're being kidnapped, I am truly, truly sorry. It's not like that. We just want to help."

"Help?" Sovira whispers to herself and looks at Sariin confused.

Who are these people and what do they want to help me with? And where am I? Maybe I'll get some answers from Ahx since no one else will tell me.
