Which Side Are You On?(demon love story)

This is about a girl named Sovira. She is at the fair with her best friend Karin and Karin's little brother Joseph. Sovira has long straight layered dark brown hair with purple streaks, greenish blue eyes, peachy-white skin, 5'3, and is seventeen years old.

"Wow! That was fun!" Sovira says as she gets off the Wipe Out with her friends.

"Sovira, lets get a drink. I am dying of thirst," says Karin while struggling to keep Joseph from running off.

"Okay, there's a consession stand right over there."

"Aww man! This is going to take all day," complains Joseph.

"It'll only take five minutes and then we'll go ride whatever you want, okay?" Says Karin.

"But look at the line! It's huge!" Joseph says still complaining.

"It'll just take a few minutes. If you keep complaining then you won't ride anymore rides. We'll just leave now," Sovira says.

"Okay, okay. I want on the Ferris Wheel though."

They wait in line for four minutes and it's finally their turn and Karin gets a mellow yellow.

"Do you want a sip Joseph?" asks Karin.

"Wait! Where is Joseph!?" Sovira asks in worry.

"Oh no! Joseph!? He was right here! I was holding his hand! How did he run off!? Where could he have gone!?"

"Let's check the Ferris Wheel. He did want to ride it. We'll find him and everything will be okay, Karin."

"I hope."

Karin yells, "Joseph? Joseph!? Oh my God! Where is he!? Joseph!!"

"What are you yelling about? I'm right here," Joseph chuckles.

"We were worried sick Joseph. Why did you run off like that?"

"You were taking too long, so I left."

"Well, don't do it again, okay? Now, do you want to ride the Ferris Wheel with me? The fair is about to close up, it's getting late, and we need to head home soon."

"I already have."

"What?" Sovira and Karin say shocked.

"It couldn't have been much fun by yourself," Sovira replies.

"Oh! I had a blast! I made a new friend and he was so cool! But some of the things he said were kind of trippy. Here! Come with me! I want you to meet him," he glances around and looks confused, "What? Where'd he go? He was right here."

"Maybe he decided to run off like someone elso I know," Sovira says glaring at him.

"So where did your imaginary friend run off to?" Karin jokes and her and Sovira start laughing.

"He's real! I rode the Ferris Wheel with him. You know I hate riding these rides by myself!" He argues.

"Well, then ride it with me before we leave."

"Okay!"

"Are you coming, Sovira?"

"No. I'll wait here," Sovira answers.

They get on the ride without having to wait in line since there were barely any people at the fair anymore. Sovira stood there watching the Ferris Wheel go around as she clenched her arms trying to keep warm while the cold breeze blew in her face. She took a deep breath and it was so cold that she could see it. Then the cold, harsh wind blew even harder, so hard she felt like it could blow her away. It kept blowing until a small piece of paper hit her face. "Ow! Plugh," she managed to get out while grabbing ahold of the paper and trying to get hair out of her mouth. She opens the paper and it reads:

-Do you believe in fate? Well, let's play a game-

Her heart skips a beat and she just stares blankly at the paper not knowing what to think. Was this meant to hit me in the face? Was i meant to read this? She thinks to herself and then looks around to see if anyone was there who could have wrote this, but no one was in sight except for the people on the Ferris Wheel who were about to get off. She saw Karin and Joseph waving at the top so she waved back. She started to feel like she was being watched so she looked around again but again she saw no one. Then she heard screaming from the people on the Ferris Wheel so she quickly turns her head around and is shocked by what she sees. The Ferris Wheel was tilted to the left, then to the right and back. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Had the wind really gotten this bad? She asks herself. That's impossible.

"Aaaaaa!" She hears screaming and more screaming. Wishing she could do something, she runs up to the Ferris Wheel.

"Noooo! Do something!" She yells to the people working the machine. "Turn the damn thing off! Get them people off! Get them off!" She yells as tears start building up and streaming down her face knowing her best friend and her very little brother Joseph would not make it through this. "Why?" She cries. "Help..."

"Aaaaaa! Help! Aaaaa! I dont want to die!" She hears more screaming and a big cracking sound as if something were breaking.

"Nooo!" She yells while looking up to see the cart her friend is in breaking. "Noooo! This can't be. This has to be a dream. No! Nooo!" She lets out a loud cry. She feels the wind is laughing at her but ignores it.

"Aaaaaa! We're gonna die! Karin, I'm scared. Please don't let us die! I love you!" Cries Joseph.

CRACK! Just then the last little piece of the cart which was holding them up broke and the cart was headed straight down for Sovira.

"Noo! I won't let it happen!" She cries.

"There's nothing you can do! Back away from there!" She hears a young man's voice behind her.

"Noo! Noo! Please no!" She cries even more.

"Damnit!" The man yells and grabs her arm jerking her back while she just stares and watches the cart collide with the ground.

"Karin! Joseph! No!"

Just then the wind had stopped and only that cart with them two in were effected and only them two were killed. Everyone else got off of the ride unharmed only scared out of their minds. And the wind seemed to have only effected that ride. Sovira thinks to herself while trying not to drown in her tears even though she felt like doing so at this point.

"So you noticed it too?" The young man asks.

He had thick, dark brown chin length hair with black tips, and beautiful green eyes.

"What?" She asks confused.

"The wind?"

"I'm sorry. Did I say that out loud?" She says glaring at him and wondering at the same time if she did say it out loud, but can't remember so she lets it go.

"Well, I'm sorry about...your friends."

"Sorry? It isn't your fault....maybe it's (whimper) fate," she says trying to hold back tears while remembering the note which she still had clenched in her hand.

She opens it and notices the words have changed and it now reads:

-Wasn't that a fun game? Lets play another-

Sovira gasps at this strange note and it's horrifying existence and rips the paper to shreds.

"Are you alright? What's the matter?" The guy asks.

"Alright!? My friend just died and you ask me what's the matter!? What's the matter with you!? She yells and turns to run but runs right into Scott and Belinda, Karin and Joseph's parents.

"Oh my god! We came as soon as we heard. Are you alright!? Where's...Karin!?" Asks Belinda in worry and has just noticed where her beloved children are.

"Oh my god!" Cries Scott.

"Oh my god! Joseph! No! No! Karin!" Belinda cries letting out a stream of tears.

Sovira couldn't stand it all so she ran heading for the exit until the wind started blowing hard again making her lose her balance and trip over a rock.

"Ouch! Stupid wind! What's your problem!?" She yells in frustration while getting off of the ground. As she did she could swear she heard the wind laughing at her again and then she was distracted by more screaming coming from the direction of the Ferris Wheel but she ignored it all and ran out of the fair. There was an ambulance, cops, worried parents, and even a fire truck. Just about the whole city was here eager to know what is going on and if everyone is okay and unharmed. She kept running, so fast and not paying any attention to her surroundings which causes her to run into people, parents, a firefighter, and then a cop. The cop tried to stop her but she pushed him off and ignored him and kept running. She runs until she reaches the park. She is so tired of running she decides to take a break and sit on the swings. There were two and a figure is sitting in the other which is kind of odd considering how late it is. It was too dark to see their face so she ignores their presence and puts her hands up to her face crying. After about five minutes of crying she feels like going home and crying herself to sleep. She removes her hands from her face and wipes her tears though more are soon to come. She takes a deep breath and stands up then notices that the figure isn't in the swing anymore. Then as she turns her head back around she sees the figure is right in front of her. Now she can make out that the figure is a male. He has messy red hair maybe two inches past his chin with a black streak in the front on each side. He has ghostly blue eyes with a red tint in it. He is pale and looks about six feet tall and pretty muscular. He smirks and grabs her arms tightly.

"What's the matter?" He asks.

"Let go!" She yells. "Who are you?"

"I don't want to scare you, but you look hurt."

"Maybe because you are squeezing the shit out of my arms!"

"Oh, I'm sorry," he apologizes lightly lifting off his grip just enough so it doesn't hurt, but still holding on.

"Who are you? Please..leave me alone," she says leeting a tear fall down her cheek.

He wipes away the tear and says,"I'm not here to hurt you. I'm sorry."

"Then why...who are you?" More tears stream down her face. "I'm..I'm not ready to die yet."

"Don't worry. I'm not here to kill you. I don't mean to scare you like this. I just wanted to know what was wrong. I saw you crying...and you're crying now. Is there anything I could do to make you feel better?" He asks with a concerned look on his face. She couldn't help but to think maybe he really did care. He looked so cute and concerned, but she was still afraid and more and more tears fell down her cheeks. He let go of his grip on her arms leaving deep red marks then embraced her in his arms. She didn't struggle or try to run. She just stood there and let him hold her. She felt safer now than she had ever felt before. The feeling was warmer than home.

"I'm sorry. My name is Karamys," He says finally revealing his name. Was that so hard? She thinks to herself.

"I'm Sovira." The wind starts blowing again making her shiver.

"I must go," he says and at this he is gone within a few seconds.

She looks around to see where he is, but he was no where to be seen. He was as fast as the wind. How did he run so fast? Track? The wind starts blowing even harder now. Sovira shivers at the breeze. I must hurry home before it blows a tree on me. She thinks to herself sarcastically. When she gets home it's 12:46, and everyone is asleep. She walks to her room, plops herself on her bed without even bothering to take her shoes off, and falls right to sleep. She has a dream...
