I love you forever and more

I hold her tight. Like i rag doll in the middle of then night. I refuse to let her go... to let her cry alone.

"Sister?"

"Hmmm?"

"When will Mommy come home? I dont want to be left all alone. Im scared. Im scared mommy will leave us for good"

Nothing i can say, to put a smile on her buetaful porslen face. Nothing i can do, to make her eyes glitter as they do when Mommy is home.

"I dont know. Mommy went out to do somthing, she should be home soon. She always comes home. Mommy loves you"

Love? Does mommy love her? If leaving her hungry, crying, with nothing but a memory to hold as she stalks the night to end her addiction... to sadisfy her desire, if that is love. Mommy loves her with all her heart.

"If mommy loves me, why does she leave me? Did i do something wrong, will you leave me to? Im sorry for beeing bad, please dont go?

Tears in my eyes. Words chocking out with shivers down my spine.

"I will never leave you, but instead, be with you forever. I love you with every heart and soul, i swear to you i will never go. Mommy is blind, mommy is weak. She cannot see true buety. You are my life, my reason to breath and waist time. Mommy is nothing, but a tool in our life. There is nothing wrong with you, but there is wrong in mommy. You have nothing to be sorry for, but mommy has everyting to be sorry for."

Stareing in her eyes, it began to water like mine. Grabing at me with hands so small. Pressing her faced deep in my chest, screaming with tears rolling down as far as her neck. My little sister. My little angel so bright and buetaful, i am sorry you are forced to see what mommy can be. I am sorry that i can not protect you, just as no one could protect me. But i will be here forever, never to leave you alone as she left me. No one to run to as mommy  was lost in the night, addiction never sadisfies.

We will not be the sidafect to a drug, but a true addiction, a deisre, that will never be left alone.
