Two years later.
“How long does three minutes take?” Alexis screamed.
“Well about 180 seconds.” Amanda suggested.
“Don’t get smart with me it feels like an eternity.”
“I’m sorry but this time seems to be flying by.”
“Well you’re not the one whose life is going to change in a matter of 3 minutes.”
“I’m sorry. Oh look you’ve got 3…2…1…” riiiiiiiinnnnnnng
“Oh my god what does it say I can’t read it you read it.”
“Uh… well… it’s says that you are…”
“I’m what… I’m what.”
“Pregnant?”
“I’m pregnant oh my god I can’t believe this is happening.”
“Well are you excited?”
“Duh I’m excited. Once I and Ryan graduated in June and he and I both got jobs I gave him the okay that we could have another baby.”
“Well that’s nice why didn’t I know this?”
“Because I didn’t want you to know until I was actually pregnant.”
“Oh so how are you going to tell Ryan?”
“I don’t’ know I guess we can go out for dinner or something.”
“Well don’t ask me to baby-sit I’ve got plans.”
“Oh you got plans ay well we probably get James to do it or something.” As Alexis said that Amanda stiffened up. “I hope you’re okay with that.”
“Why wouldn’t I be okay you can chose who you baby-sit and I can’t do it.”
“It’s just that even though you guys are done he’s still our friend and we don’t let it affect our relationship with him.”
“No its okay I don’t care it’s fine.”
“Okay so I think you should go so I can call James and Ryan about going out tonight.”
“Good-bye. Good luck.” Amanda said walking out of the bathroom and going downstairs. Already she was thinking about how she could have a reason to come over tonight while James would be here. She walked over to the hall closet to grab her coat but decided to leave it there. It could be her plan.
