Olivia was so excited that her date with Jake was finally back on. She was still worried that he could have another blow out and cancel it but it was Thursday night and he hadn’t said anything about canceling it yet. She decided to call Jake just in case he was having second thoughts. “Hello?” “Hi. It’s me.” “Hi you. What’s up?” “I was just making sure that we were on for tomorrow night.” “Of course we are. Why wouldn’t we be?” “Because the last time we had a date you canceled it.” “Well don’t worry I won’t do it this time.” “Promise?” “I promise” “Okay so what are we doing tomorrow?” “I don’t yet but I’ll think of something.” “You know since tomorrow we don’t have school we don’t have to wait until night time to go on this date.” “Oh yeah I almost forgot, but I have some things to do tomorrow so I think that I should pick you up at about seven o’clock. Okay?” “Okay” “Bye sees you tomorrow” “Bye” Olivia was bummed that he couldn’t take her out earlier so they make up for lost time, but she knew she shouldn’t be whining because she actually had the date with. She just couldn’t wait for this date. It was better than any date she’d ever had. She knew it was sure because she didn’t have her brothers on her case about him. They were all still mad because he blamed her for Aiden but they knew why he did it and still knew he was a good guy. She was going to start jumping off the walls but then the phone started ringing. She picked it up and it was Jake’s home number, she answered it thinking it was him but instead it was Nicole looking for Aiden. “Aiden” she yelled. “What?” He asked. “It’s Nicole.” She replied. “Why, thank you.” Aiden said. She gave him a dirty look as he walked out the door to get his own phone. She held the phone to her ear until she heard Caleb take the line, but while she was doing this she heard Nicole on the other line talking to someone. What was really weird was that the voice seemed closer to the phone receiver than Nicole did. Then she realized the person was Jake. She was about to ask him what he was doing but then Aiden picked up the phone in his room and told her to get off. So she did. What she didn’t know was that Aiden wasn’t talking to Nicole, he was talking to Jake. And if she knew what they were talking about tomorrow wouldn’t be the best day ever.
