On Friday night Olivia was so mad. She said no to Emma for going to a concert because she had a date with Jake. And now she wasn’t going on that date anymore because Aiden. Jake wouldn’t talk to her and let her explain it isn’t her fault. She won’t talk Aiden at all. Her parents keep trying to get Aiden to talk to her to apologize, but because she’s shut him out completely.Her brothers try to get her to forgive Aiden and it just made her dislike them too. For the last two weeks Jake wouldn’t talk to her at all. Only when he had to and that wasn’t very much. Now after school she comes home and runs to her room and cries all night long.On Monday morning more than two weeks after what happened Aiden was finally guilty enough to stand up to Jake. At lunch Aiden walked right up to where Jake was sitting and decided it was right now when they fix this whole thing. He didn’t like seeing his sister crying or not talking to him and his brothers and the school didn’t look at him the same way anymore.Jake: What do you want?Aiden: I want to talk to you about my sisterJake: There’s nothing to talk aboutAiden: Yes there isJake: Okay what?Aiden: Why are you being such a jerk to my sister?Jake: Because you were such a perv to me sisterTheir voices were getting louder that the cafeteria quieted down to hear what was going on.Aiden: And I said sorryJake: That’s not enoughAiden: So you break off a date with my sister to get back at meJake: Well now you know how it feels to be at home with a sister with a broken heartAiden: You disgust meJake: How do you think I feel about you?Aiden: You don’t break date with someone’s sister because of what someone did to your sister.Jake: And why not?Aiden: That is so low. Lower than what I did.Jake: And why do you say that?Aiden: Because I apologized and I tried to pay for what I did. And I realized what I did wrongJake: Well what I know is that you paid for your mistake and you’re not doneAiden: Oh yes I am. And for your information you didn’t make me pay for hurting you’re your sister. You made me pay fro you hurting my sister and making my family start to break apart.Jake: I didn’t do that.Aiden: My sister comes home every night because she thinks it’s her fault that you don’t talk to her.Jake: My sister comes home and cries every night tooJust then Nicole walked into the cafeteria. She heard what her brother said so she ran right up to him.Nicole: You have it all wrong Jake. I only cry because I really liked aiden and he moved to fast that’s all. But now I can’t see him because he won’t to me because of what you did.Jake: This is not my faultNicole: It’s all your fault. The reason why I’m sad, the reason why Aiden’s family is mad at him and the reason why Olivia cries, none of this would have happened if it wasn’t because of youAiden: You like me?Nicole: Yeah why do you think I cried a lot and wouldn’t talk to you on the phone?Aiden: I thought it was because you didn’t like me Nicole: NopeAiden: Do you want to do something this weekend?Nicole: Of course I’ve been waiting to see if you would ask meOlivia walked into the cafeteria next. She saw that aiden, Nicole, and Jake were all sitting together. Jake was pissed and aiden and Nicole were beaming. It was really quiet, too quiet. The whole cafeteria turned their heads to look at her. She walked over to Jake to see what was going.Olivia: What’s going on?Nicole: Aiden and I have a date this weekendOlivia: I would I say I’m happy for you but I’m not talking to aidenAiden: It’s not my fault he broke the dateNicole: Yeah he only did it because he thought I was crying over how aiden hurt me but aiden didn’t hurt meOlivia: But it still doesn’t change that I never went on that date I wanted to go onJake: You really wanted to go didn’t you?Olivia: Well duh. It was all I could talk about that weekJake: I’m sorry. I didn’t think how it could hurt you. I was just so mad when I saw my sister crying that I didn’t want to have anything to do with aiden and that meant I couldn’t see youOlivia: I don’t see why it was me you seemed to point your finger atJake: Well the thing was is that my sister was hurt and you were the next thing closest to me so I blamed it on you. I felt I had to make someone else hurt and I knew that aiden could live without my sister but I had a feeling he couldn’t live without you. If I got to you I could get to him. I can say it enough how sorry I am.Olivia: I don’t know if I can forgive you. All I want to do right now is walk out on you.Jake: Ok then why don’t you?Olivia: I can’t walk away from youJake: Exactly. I’ve felt horrible for these past two weeks. I’m really sorry. I mean really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really….Olivia: Okay I get itJake: So do you forgive?Olivia: It will take a while for you to make it up to me but I forgive youJake: I’ll do anything to have that date with youOlivia: You’ve got a lot to doJake: AnythingJake hugged Olivia and the whole cafeteria clapped. They laughed and left the cafeteria to get to their next class.
