“Olivia hurry up we’re going to be late.” Justin yelled from the bottom of the stairs. “Hold on I’ll be right there.” Olivia yelled back. She grabbed her bag and took another look in her mirror. She ran out of her room but locked the door before she ran down the stairs to four of her impatient brothers. “What?” she asked. “We’re going to be late.” Evan grunted. “Oh you don’t want to be late because your wonderful girlfriend won’t wait long.” Olivia said as she walked out of the house into the car. “Oh shut up Olivia.” Justin said. “Hey don’t get mad at me. I should be mad at you guys because I don’t even get the chance to be someone’s girlfriend. You guys ruin everything for me so I should ruin it for you.” Olivia suggested. “Oh don’t be such a brat Olivia.” Aiden replied. “Stop whining you big baby and Evan get in the back.” Olivia said motioning for Evan to move. “Why do I have to ride in the back?” Evan cried. “Because I’m older and seniority gets front first day of school.” Olivia answered. “You’re only a week older than me. ” Evan replied. “ well Justin’s only two minutes older than I am but he gets to drive. So there.” Olivia said. Evan looked at Justin for help but all Justin could say was, “she’s right and if she can’t drive she gets the front seat.” Evan grunted and moved to the back seat with Aiden and Daniel. Justin started the car and they were off to another year of high school. “Excited about your freshman year? Aiden? Daniel?” Olivia asked. They nodded. “Look Evan I’m sorry about making fun of you and Jessica. I want to ask something form all of you and I’m saying the same thing about myself. Okay?” they all nodded that they would hear her out. “Okay we seem to have problems about any of us dating anyone and ruining their chances with people.” The boys all sort of cringed when she said. They remember last year when she liked a guy. They found out and made sure that that guy stayed away. Well Olivia had other plans for them. She got some girls to get Evan and Justin to wear thongs and soon the whole school knew what they were wearing. The school soon forgot but the memories are still there. “I propose that we stay out of each other’s love life unless something bad seems to be going on or someone asks you for help. Okay?” Everyone agreed just as they were pulling into the parking lot.They got out and said good-bye to each other. Olivia and Justin walked together to front entrance to the school. They split up when they reached the steps. Olivia’s best friend, Emma called her over and Justin went to see his friends. Just as Olivia was walking away from Justin he called her name, “Hey Olivia here is the keys pick me up at five out here.” He threw the keys and she tried to catch them but she was caught off balance and she fell down. She almost rolled down the stairs but someone she’d never seen before caught her just as he was walking up the stairs. “Are you okay?” he asked. Olivia couldn’t help but stare into his green eyes. He stood her up and made sure she could stand on her own. Olivia couldn’t say a word. She was too shocked that there was this hot guy catching her and the fact that he had to catch her. He picked up her keys and handed them to her. “My name is Jake.” He said. Olivia still couldn’t say a word, but just then Emma and Justin came running up to her. “Olivia is you okay?” Emma asked. “I’m sorry I shouldn’t have thrown them when you were so close to the stairs.” Justin said. Olivia just nodded as Justin and Emma inspected her to make sure she wasn’t broken. “Hi I’m Justin thanks for saving my sister.” Justin said to Jake. “I’m Jake.” Jake replied. “I’m Emma” Emma said extending a hand. Jake shook it and asked Olivia if she was okay. She nodded and Emma took her where she was standing before. When they walked away and stood where their other friends were Olivia could finally talk. “I’m so stupid. I couldn’t even say thank you or tell him my name.” “Oh don’t worry Olivia you were shocked he won’t even notice.” Emma assured her. The bell rang and they went to class. She went to her first class which she had with Justin and Emma. But when she walked in and sat down she also found that she had it with Jake. The only two seats were one behind Jake and one behind Justin. Justin had sat next to Jake to say thanks again for saving Olivia. Emma ran in front of Olivia so she could sit in the seat behind Justin. Olivia looked at her friend with pure hate when she saw what Emma did. Olivia had no choice but to sit behind Jake. She was in luck because the tardy bell rang just has she sat down so that didn’t give Jake a chance to talk to her if he wanted to. The teacher introduced himself and told the class what they would be doing this year in his class. Half way through the class the teacher told everyone to do an ice breaker, which was a survey to see who you could find with the thing on your list. Of course everyone to go to Justin or Olivia for the question that asked, someone who has more than six siblings. Everyone in that class besides Justin and Olivia had only about two or three siblings. They soon found out that Jake had five sisters and no brothers. Olivia knew now that she did want to know this guy he was going through everything she was just that she had brothers instead of sisters, but it was the same situation. Soon class was over, Olivia left class as fast as she could and Emma followed behind her. They had most of their classes together except for third hour right before lunch. They walked into their next class and Olivia felt better because there were more seats to choose from. She sat in the very middle of the room and Emma sat next down to her. They were looking at the door to see who would be in their class. Evan walked in and Olivia couldn’t be shocked she looked at their schedules and found that she has first hour with Justin, second with Evan, fifth with aiden, sixth with Aiden and Daniel and seventh with Justin and Evan. She knew that she would have to have some classes with Evan and Justin because they were all juniors, but she didn’t expect it with her brothers that were freshmen. She has chemistry with Aiden and Daniel and Spanish with just Aiden. This was going to be a crazy year. She was glad though because she had one hour when she had no best friends or brothers. She needed that hour to maintain calm throughout the day. She wasn’t always calm but that one hour would sure help her head from blowing up.A couple minutes later Jake walked into the classroom. Olivia could only put her head down on the table and pray that he didn’t sit anywhere near her. But that dream was short lived he sat right in front of her like they were in the last class. She finally got the courage when he sat down to thank him for saving her. “Jake right? I want to say thank you for saving my life on those steps this morning.” “No problem. I was glad that I could save your life. It’s my day a hell of a lot easier.” Jake said. “What do you mean?” Olivia asked. “See I’m new in town and I was worried that it would be hard to meet people but saving you has made people want to become friends with me.” Jake replied. “Oh so I’m just a way for you to make friend’s?” Olivia asked. “No it’s not like that it’s just that’s the way it turned out.” Jake answered. “Well my name is Olivia.” Olivia said. “I know.” Jake replied. Then the bell rang and they couldn’t say anymore.
