~! ~ Holding On By A Moment~! ~
 [Suicide and Paxton Are Back]



The Cold winter air brushed across my face as I   wobbled down the sidewalk to nowhere in particular. Yeah it’s me again Paxton Brookes. It’s December 5^th.

 Yeah I know I shouldn’t be walking when I am due in 2 months, but as my father once said

“A little exercise never hurt anyone”

and opposed to what he said when I cut my hair at age 5 “Tame That Thing! Tame That Thing!”

Well I loved him anyways.


I walked around a corner and down the sidewalk. I’ve been walking for 15 minutes. Ace says I should be in bed, but it doesn’t stop me. I sit down on a bench to rest.

Yeah your head right Ace says I should be in bed. His mom and dad weren’t mad at all. His dad was a little disappointed, but he was glad his son was taking responsibility for his actions.


I moved in with Ace about 2 months ago in October. We’ve made a nursery out of one of their spare rooms. Ace and I are living in the same room. Winter just isn’t as fun and warm as summer.


I break away from my thoughts and hear a voice.

“Paxton?” Ace yelled.
“Yeah” I said turning to my left.
“What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be getting some rest?” he asked.
“Uh……I am just walking and enjoying this winter air” I said.

 He laughed “Well since were here on this beautiful winter morning I want to ask you something” he said.

He looked up at the cloudy blue sky, and at the fewer people around.

“Shoot” I said sighing.

He got down on one knee and said……”Paxton Elizabeth Brookes, Will you marry me?” he asked with a serious face.

My eyes widened and my mouth dropped open.

This has got to be a dream, but of course it ISN’T.

“I…uh…I…umm………YES!!”I exclaimed and he stood up and wrapped his arms around my waist and my arms around his neck.


His kissed my lips and he said my favorite 3 words…

“I love You” He said brushing his hand against my pale cheek.
“I love you too” I said grinning.
