He’s really sweet & funny!! I’ve known him since 1st grade he was home schooled in kindergarten! Well he’s captain of Pee Wee Football team!! Everybody says he will be the JV Team Captain, and I really believe them he’s really talented!! Well what else do you want to know? He’s popular, cute & most girls like him!
Well does he have a girlfriend?? I ask. Well no but he’s been asked out a lot, she says! Well do you think he would be interested in me perhaps, I ask anxiously!! Well I Don’t Know But I will ask she says. No, No, Not right now, I say right before she calls for Matt!! I stand up and head for the nearest exit, I sit on the bench outside, and 5 minutes later comes out with a smile on her face!! What happened, I say cautiously! Oh nothing I was just chatting up Matt when he finally blurted out he liked you!! My eyes widened then I let out a big Y-E-S YES!! I couldn’t believe it, Matt actually liking me on my 1st day YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!
Well when I got home, I did my homework, chores, and then finally sat down to rest!! I grabbed a piece of paper and started it out “Dear, Matt” That’s all I could put….I was in a stump!! So I grabbed the phone and called Quinn!! (Ring ring ring) Hello, someone on the other end of the phone says. Hello is this Quinn, if so this is Kendra, I say. Oh Yea Hey Ken I was just about to call you, lol, well what are you doing, I ask. Well nothing really, she says. I was trying to write a note to Matt but I didn’t know what to say, can you help me?? Yea writing to a boy like him is a piece of cake ok put this down “Dear, Matt, I heard things about you from my dear friend Quinn, unfortunately I’ve been likening what I’ve been hearing!!! Sincerely Yours with a heart Kendra!!
That All, I Ask? Yea, he’s a simple guy, HeWouldn’t Care How Long the Note was. She says!! I Just Laugh!!! *NEXT DAY* Kendra’s mom is having car trouble. “Ma we need a new car” I say. “Kendra I know but we can’t afford it right now, so you’re going to have to walk” she says. I moan & groan and walk off. I was 13 minutes late for class
I walk in to 22 faces staring at me. I couldn’t help to put a little grin on my face. I sat behind Quinn and Matt is diagonal from me. I Slip Quinn the note to give to him. He takes it from Quinn, reads and puts under his book. The Bell Rings. I’m getting my books ready as I see a shadow in the corner of my eye. I turn to see Matt with a grin on his face. I turn, grab my stuff and run out fast to my locker. His Locker is 10 down from mine. He was running after me, when I tripped again, this time embarrassing! Everybody but him was laughing. I step to my feet and carry on to my locker. I put in the combination 34, 44, 20 I grab the stuff I need and put back the stuff I don’t need. I close the locker and there he is behind my locker door. He scared me soooo bad I almost peed my pants. What, I finally say in a not so loud shouting way. Hi, he says.
I start to giggle as I turn away to go to my next class. Quinn comes up right behind me and scared me, but I dropped my books. GOSH!! Why does that keep happening? Oh I’m sorry, she says did I scare you?? Yea ya did, I say. I pick up my books. Some reason I was excited the rest of the day, but I didn’t show it.
I didn’t want it to seem obvious, so I decided to ask him myself. *LUNCH* Quinn and I sit at our usual table, Matt comes and sits by us, and out of nowhere says “This Cornbread smells bad” I start to giggle inside but not out, I just smile. Quinn catches me starring at him; she makes an excuse to leave us alone. So I sit, and right before I say……
