Response: What do you think about the prerequisites of being President?

"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."
I prefer natural born and the numbers are relatively arbitrary. I might lower the minimum age a bit, even the time of continous residency, but that's about it. 30 and 10 respectively. I'd keep things about as they are.
I know it will seem nationalistic, but the office of the President has significantly more importance that even the office of the Governor of the largest populous state, and the person in that position should have the most ingrained loyalty to America. Natural born people are assumed to have that inherently. Those born from without cannot be assumed to be as strongly loyal.
