It's kind of like watching The Deer Hunter, only it's in now America instead of 1970-ish Vietnam. That's why I stay far away from this kid now, have since high school ... when he started talking smack about me and hung around with coke dealers.

Basically this mob boss drags people from New York City: suicidally depressed kids, broke businessmen with nothing to lose, and homeless people. Then pays them incredible amounts of money to play Russian roulette against each other. And people show up with thousands of dollars to some abandoned warehouse in the middle of the ghetto to bet on who's going to die and how many trigger pulls it takes. The whole thing got broken up a couple months ago, with no media coverage (thanks to the mob connection). However, the kid I know is basically in a world of trouble.

That's what it looked like. They hung one of those on a major bridge, then they found a couple dozen more around the city in really bad areas.
