I have panic disorder, and ever since I passed out after getting my blood drawn, the smell of antiseptic spray has been a trigger for me. I get really nervous and start to freak out whenever I get in a hospital just because I'm afraid I'll have a panic attack, and I usually do :/
Hospitals are fantastic, I guess, just the smell they have...Not so much. I have a friend who's a pre-med student, going to become a surgeon for the trauma team at one of the local hospitals. He worked the E.R. on an internship for a little while. I went to see him in action a few times, cool beans B)
I'm aiming to be a paramedic myself.
It can be. I've had it for years, take sleeping pills. If I didn't have my pills I could stay up for days.
Ah...Snap. Hospitals...Er. They bug me. *twitches*
