one of the top 3 scariest sounds in cimema is in the movie aliens with sigourney weaver and the marines had that motion tracker. everytime that thing pinged it meant the aliens were getting closer and the faster it pinged the closer they were.

that scene where they were held up in a sealed off room and they realized that the motion detector said the aliens distance from them had to be wrong for that was in the room with them and then they look in the cieling vents and ohhh shit.

im a grown ass man and hearing that sound still gives me chills
