SEX! Teens. Whats Your Opinion?

I think that it is pointless. I have no room to talk because I am a virgin, and I dont know what its like. But I do know that people should have more respect to themselves then that. I know 9 kids, all between 12-17 that ARE pregnant. Im not judging, nor will I judge people whom have teen sex because they are humans. But what is YOUR take on teen sex? Are you a teen having sex, if so.. When did you lose your virginity? How was it? Do you regret it? How long did you hide it from people? Any stories that you know of, please tell me because I am writing a paper for one of my old teachers. And they wanted me to do a paper about it. To help kids my age see MY take on things.

I lost my virginity right when I was about to turn 16. I used a condom, and I use a condom each time I do have sex. I've only had sex with one guy that I am still in a relationship, about 5 years already now. Sex is fine, but you shouldn't really indulge in it till at least 16. >_> And be intelligent about protection. I always would be paranoid about having a child, so I refuse to ever have sex without one. I understand you take on things. I have a great respect for myself. I was with my bf for at least a year before really ever trying anything sexual. I never regret loosing my virginity to my boyfriend since I've been with him for so long and we both care about each other. I just can't believe the girls who are only turning 15 and already have had sex with about 5-10 guys. :/ And teen pregnancy just shows stupidity on behave of both partners. Did you know that my friends aunt once told her you'd never get pregnant the first time you have sex. Of course my friend was a hell of lot smarter to know the truth. But honestly if you have been with a guy for more than 6 months or so without having anything sexual going on I say your set with a very trustworthy guy. :3

I know I am...that's why I am happily a VIRGIN and I plan to stay that way becuz of my stupid guy friends deciding to do it with someone else when I couldn't and I am not gonnahave sex until eighteen when I think I can deal with it because I can hardly deal with my guy friend betraying me like that when we didn't even have sex, he's a dumbass anyway. I agree with you MISFIT, people should have way more self respect and I like the way that you're sticking up with yourself and what you believe in. I'm fifteen and I'm still a virgin. By choice. I get made fun of and people have said before, "Oh, you're a virgin?? It's ok, your time will come." Like it's something to frown upon, but in my opinion, abstinence is a good thing. I've had boyfriends complain and whine and bitch about it, I've also had boyfriends tell me that they wanted to wait and then give up when they see that it's the real deal. I've had guys make rumors about me and I've even considered caving in a few times, but I promised to wait until I'm eighteen. And then if I feel that it's right, I'll either wait more or do it. Bottom Line: no one but the person that wants to spend the rest of their life with you (a.k.a. husband/wife, and NOT boyfriend-of-the-week) deserves to half have of you. I think it's crazy how people decide to break themselves and then wonder why they're so broken.

My take on teen sex is that no matter what you say, how you spin it, teens will make thier own decisions. Just like you've made your decision to stay a virgin at the moment, they've made the decision to do other wise rather they were ready for it or not. This is the reason I believe that schools shouldn't just teach abstinence, but both that and a full on no holds bard sex ed class. And all you people who say that teaching sex ed. is a breeding ground for curiosity about sex, you think abstinence isn't? Tell someone, anyone about something that they shouldn't do and then not tell them specifics why, and see how many go out on their on to figure out what the deal is. I knew just as many abstinent people back in high school as i did sexually active, and both sides were equally curious. So in any aspect of the situation, there will always be those teens that make the decision to choose to have sex and those that still choose not too. That's never going to change... and I don't think either side is necessarily right or wrong.

I'm 13 and me and one of my guy friends were just planning to have sex about a month ago and the reason why we were planning to do that instead of going out and waiting is because we were attracted to eachother and just wanted to do it and get it over with. We both were virgins and now he's not, he did it with another girl about 2 weeks ago. He ended up not being able to go to his friends house so he couldn't go for a "walk" alone with me because "he hasn't seen me in a while". I'm glad his friend said he couldn't come over and I am gald to be a virgin but I do regret saying I would have sex with him. Now I don't want to talk to him incase he asks if we could hook-up soon because now I absoulutly hate him, he just changed and started to be a dick. I think teen sex is okay as long as you know th person and you don't do it with someone that your not in a realationship with. You have to make it so it actually means somthing to yourself not just oh that was my first time, the person you do it with should mean somthing to you and you should mean somthing to them. Advice: Teen's don't have sex with someone unless you care for them and they care for you and you've been in a long realationship with them.
