What do you think about altering your body? (anything from lyposuction to breast implanst, penile implants, breast reduction...)

I think that if you got into an accident and had something on your body messed up that is a good reason for plastic surgery ... or say someone who is born with a cleft lip or something like that... I also think that if a person is sooooo terribly overweight that they absolutely NEED surgery or they are going to die have good reason to do it...

I think altering your body shouldn't be an option. I wonder what the reason behind altering one's body is? I think that people alter their body because they hve a body image issue, perhaps, self-esteem. If ou have a good personality and people like that, why should it matter what you look like? i just don't get it???

I think that if you do it for the right reasons, such as to feel more confidant about yourself, its fine. But if your not doing it for yourself than there are wrong motivations behind it and yu'll most likely not appreciate yourself. If I had money to change things on my body I would, but than again, thats my opion. --the only way i'd say its wrong, would be if you became addicted to it. ickky...
