i still see it both ways.some digital just plain rocks, and so does standard charcoal drawing.i really need to get some new programs and probably combine the 2.

i think that traditional is my outlet. i would like to make more drawings using photoshop, but i don't have that program.

My opinion is that people that post quotes from themselves are full of themselves.

i do not think any art style is being lost. i do feel that there is perhaps *just a guess* a sort of revolution. but that may be a poor choice of words

but as with other styles in the past that became big. they've never been lost but merely another artistic medium or tool. not saying this is the case with you but ive seen that its far too easy for one to look at some digital art and just assume someone changed the color. sometimes that is the case but not nearly in all.

Though digital art isnt really new in the grand history of creating it is an infant and one that is growing and evolving. however it like the others is merely a medium. no culture is lost. some people just wanna see where they can take it. the serious ones spend hours and or days and even weeks on something. far mor complex than anything ive done. With todays technology one is but their imagination and/or wallets. and with all the crack codes floating about money really isnt one either if u know where to look.

Digital art can be inspired just as much as anyother art form period. The quality has tons of factors but the key ones are ingenuity, creativity, patience, willingness to take chances, and devotion. the same thing any other artist would need.

i have friends who use oil or acrylic or a myriad of ofther paints to create and i give them a great deal of respect and admiration for i cannot create anything good with it. i need full control which is why i prefer colored pencils. those artists who can use a brush with surgical precision i highly commend. as i do with anyone who pursues their particular "tool" in earnest.

Great works will be great works regardless of the medium used.

My two cents on the matter

i see digital as a viable medium in which to work, but i think we are loosing alot of culture to it.we get so much so called art where all is done is a little color addition vs. some which is truly inspired and worked in many aspects.
