Music Industry Has Gone Down the Sh**er

Music today is all about money and that's it. People are getting caught lip syncing while dancing around half naked. Does this bother anyone, but me?

Thats the music they want you to hear. The shit they play on the radio. Theres a huge underlayer of bands that arnt all about that. Do some research, go to local shows! Music is still alive!

I agree. I posted a similar thing on howe I cant stand people that listen to an artist because of how they look not because they sing well. Image shouldnt matter in the music business, talent should. I love the ramones, they are easily a very unattractive band, but they had talent. They are punk legends now! America is probablly the most superficial country, and that makes me really mad.

I feel that today everything is about money, money, money. I want to hear music. No not stuff by girls dancing half naked, but stuff from true artists who work hard to get where they are. Let's look at some examples: Bach: True artist. Was not good looking and was known for making great music Britney Spears: Makes most of her money based on looks, but could at least sing and sung as a young child. Hilary Duff: Can't sing at all. Sells TONS of CD's though. How? Looks, ads, editing, and more. I just don't understand why they don't just look for people who are just great singers AND entertainers no just entertainers.
