close-mindedness
i was just thinking about how closed minded people can be. especially devout religious people, those against medicine, hippies, athiests too... just about every category of people, stereotypically speaking.
i, myself, do not appreciate those who do not want to take a second look at things or try to think about something from someone else's point of view. this goes too for those who are so 'open-minded' that they feel they must prove a 'close-minded' person wrong. i called this people 'hypocrits' or just simply 'the people who think they are never wrong'
i dont think it's right when people (verbally or physically) abuse/slander/mock/torment others for doing something against their beliefs, but at the same time it's not right for the so called 'open-minded' person to do the same back because they might not have learnt any other way, or had some experience that's made them think like that or anything else
what do you think?
