This world in itself is not reasonable, that is all that can be said. But what is absurd is the confrontation of this irrational and the wild longing for clarity whose call echoes in the human heart. The absurd depends as much on man as on the world. For the moment it is all that links them together. It binds them one to the other as only hatred can weld two creatures together

I am absurd. everything that contacts me becomes absurd. If I ever found anything that was "surd" I would be shocked. I have a necklace I keep pinned above my door...it was used in all my occult studies as a child and young adult...since then it has been a tropy of mine...it has TWO left hands....a symbol of how absurd life is...I always liked it...Like marilyn monroe...Im a misfit. I don't even try to fit in. Absurdity....Its more heavy on the day then what ever horrible news you already hear. Like a norman rockwell painting...you would be the two innocent youths sleeping...I would be the two informed adults tucking you in....holding a news clipping about some horrendous deeds of some paramilitary group...aware of the absurd as you blissfully sleep....
