A flower is only as good as its petals. Would the Sistine Chapel be such a sacred and recognized place if not for the artwork? Art is important to express viewpoint; that's just what body modification is, living art.

I am fond of tattoos personally, but I feel that every single one has to have a story and be treated by the person as a living work of art. People that let their tattoos fade are particularly annoying to me.

If I can find someone near that does scarring, I will get some ritual scarring done. I have seem pictures and read material on the rituals of scarification and I have always wanted to be part of that.
