Zoo

Do you think keeping animals in the zoo is right? Or do you think it's enslavement and unjust. Or do you have some other third opinion? (I'm waiting to see if this creates mayhem cuase it IS a common debate) :D

I think maybe if they take in endangered species it would be ok. but really, i dunno. like someone said, its usually the offspring of the originals.

For the last time... they're not trying to control nature. What they have in zoos isn't nearly half of what nature really is. Those animals are probably just children of the original first zoo animals. It's just an attraction for the masses, a scheme to see what you can see outside your door for money. Nothing more, nothing less.

There are more extinct species that have inhabited Earth than there are living species. Again, is this a God-delusion of humans by trying to control nature?

If the animal was injured and nursed back tohealth, or orphaned and raised in captivity, I see nothing wrong with it. however, to go out and catch an animal from the wild, just to place in a zoo, that isn't right.

...No... people would be outta a job. You think if we finally take away the zoos that the government will give all of those people enough time to find another job? Hell no. I can prove that because five hundred people were layed off from Hewlett Packard because they were outsourcing and it took my mom two years to find another part-time job. I'm not saying it's right to keep animals locked up, but sometimes it's for their own good. Like what about endangered species? If they just go wild they'll be eaten and 'poof' no more. I'm just saying that the time when the zoo is no longer is a long, long ways away.
