Who's Really Responsible?
In Washington State, a woman takes her two young sons for a picnic by the river with a male friend, her husband is serving in Iraq. They bring brandy, they drink the brandy. A stranger comes by in a boat, offers them a ride. She puts herself, her two children and her friend into the boat with this stranger, then go to his camp, where they continue to drink beer after beer. Then they get back into the boat with the man, who is a total stranger to the woman, on a river known to be treacherous, where a 2 year old had died the month before because it was so rough. She puts her kids in that boat with no life jackets, they capsize, The friend dies, the two kids die, the only ones who live are the mother and the drunk boater. The Drunk boater has been charged, but the mother has not. Do you feel she should be brought up on charges, or do you feel she is innocent and has lost enough? Why do you feel this way?

You punk nets! Either way, marcus, I get what you're saying. I stick by the reckless endangerment, and I had tacked on the I.M. just to send a message. Aren't you supposed to get a feeling of overprotectiveness and weighing options in your children's favor rather than yours once you procreate? Just something I've heard. I agree with Burrrrrn, there has to be more to this story, and it should all be settled in the courtroom, imo. And also to marcus, we may have a lot of prisoners, but they have been arrested, tried, and convicted (hopefully) according to the laws that dictate such a process. There may be too many laws, but I have yet to be arrested for any reason, despite how many I break on a regular basis. You sir, may say might makes right, but so far all I have experienced is white makes right.
