Bands with with punctuation in there name equals a sign of the pretentious garbage they produce. Kids are no more qualified to discuss abortion as they are to care for children...and it shows. Im glad you don't rule the world....men are no more pigs then females are sows....and women are never confusing.

Haha. I'm not quite sure which are being discussed specifically. The ones that come to my mind first would be A.F.I., Korn, Bare Naked Ladies, Sytem Of A Down, and all the other 'metal'/'screamo' bands. They give me a headache that lasts for days after I hear one song.

Doing something on the side and being qualified for the job are two entirely different things. Anyone has the RIGHT to run off at the mouth, it's called freedom of speech. However, some people are not very qualified to open their mouths and make noises. It's one thing to keep your mouth closed and let people wonder if you're stupid. It's another to open it up and prove to everyone that you are. And bands were possibly doing very similar things 40 years ago. 40 years ago, however, they had to have been at least slightly different than they are now because you could understand ALL the bands from that time period. These days, you're hard pressed to find a band you can understand without looking up the lyrics first or asking your friends who've already looked them up. :)
