Is anyone ever prone to depersonalization?

This is just in a general fashion, not attributed to the normal psychological afflictions of panic or anxiety disorder or any type of hallucinogens. In a very generalized definition it would include surreal moments of feeling outside your body and/or your surroundings and environment being perceived as dreamlike. If so are you aware of any triggers physical or psychological that you feel may attribute to it? And how frequently does this experience occur? I know many people do believe that this just doesn’t exclusively fall under the categorization of biopsychology, so if you belong to such an inclination, I would love to hear the theories attached to this.

I can stay up till 5 in the morning and wake up at 6:30. But I normally choose to fall asleep at 1 or 2.

Considering this was high school, both those are possibilities. I would usually sleep from midnight or 1AM to 6:30AM, which I find wholly impossible to do these days.

Used to get that a lot at school but I seem to have grown out of it. Also had a few out of body experiences during sleep where I couldnt get back into my body

Fascinating. Well alex, you said fashion and I thought clothing. It was a misunderstanding. lol But just so you know, I enjoy my nightmares. I CREATE my nightmares. But since recently, actually for about 3 three years now, I diagnosed myself with chronic insomnia. But it never changed my views and actions. I simply stopped being able to dream. So instead of DREAMING my nightmares, I choose to LIVE THEM!

Not that I have any experience with lucid dreaming and can't actually feel the label I know as "Jake" inside the body designed to call "Jake" WHEN I'm free to be myself while one part of me rests itself, sometimes Jake feels what I feel, or what I help him to believe he feels, when he's awake as he can be - his rubber-like plasticity "feeling" sense triggered and his conscious thoughts turn him into a paranoid fool. Sad one, that. Other than that, "Jake" seems to think he doesn't suffer from anything of the sort, though I know very well damn well he did and does and will continue to if he keeps up this derangement of the senses shit per Rimbaud and Morrison thru our writing.

A week straight? That's interesting. I've only been taught that the experience lasts several minutes or at most a few hours. Unless you were under a notable amount of stress and experiencing a prolonged period of sleep deprivation, I'm unfamiliar with something that extreme that didn't fall under chronic depersonalization. I might have to look that up though. My text is fairly outdated.

I believe I'm failing to understand. What do you mean by clothing?
