And the snow just started melting yesterday, whereas it normally melts two weeks before April (over here). That's horrible about Australia :(

*"last winter near mid-march it would snow 6-10 inches and then melt the next day, only to snow atleast 5-9 inches and melt the next day."

last winter it would snow 6-10 inches and then melt the next day, only to snow atleast 5-9 inches and melt the next day. This year in Canada, we've received two winterstorms (breaking the record of the most amount of snow in a least amount of time in '71) and Winter hadn't even started, which never happened with that much snow in so little time. Weird weather? Naw!

Nothing entirely deranged has happened here. I know Oregon rains constantly, but never have we gone over a month with incessant showers and hail. So that could perhaps be labeled a weird occurrence, though not in quite such extreme terms.

i dont know i dont think melbourne get strong winds that often, the weather in australia has been completely fucked over the passed decade or so earlier this yr 2/3 of the state of queeenland was flooded, the state is twice the size of texas, before that a fire burnt 1/5 of the state of victoria, about the size of oregon, the whole counrty's just gone through a 1 in 1000yr drought, the city of adelaide has just gone through a 1 in 300yr (or something like that) heatwave and there heaps more stuff like that happening around the country

In some way, isn't all weather weird? (squelch the global warming argument before it pops up)
