What does Easter mean to you?

ok, so there's lots of different Easter traditions but is Easter really about tradition? Or is it about family? For me, the celebration of Easter is about Jesus dying on the cross so the world could be set free and have a chance at spending an eternity with Christ in heaven, praising him. So what about you? What does Easter mean to you?

Easter is not at all about bringing people together...Easter was set up as a holiday to specifically honor the resurrection of Jesus Christ. But living in a culture that tries to take God out of everything, of course the majority have turned Easter into a secular holiday, all about family, the Easter bunny, candy, etc...but what does it really mean to me? well, that's easy! Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice for my sins and Easter is to celebrate that He rose from the grave, defeating death! Incredible that He would do that for you and me...so along with every other day, I especially celebrate this on Easter!!
