Why is it that so many people like to offend others?

Have you noticed how many chat rooms in here are based on religion, politics, sexual preference, and stereotypes? Do you know why? It's because of the simple minded people in here out for a laugh by offending other people and making them angry. How ignorant do you have to be to act like that?

Humans are social and inately emotional creatures. People want to descuss things that have a high chance of sparking emotion....even if its a negative one. Since this is a writin forum as opposed to a more personal one.....we can't read each others emotions for the most part...so we tend to fall to the lowest common denominator....fear/hate. Besides there is only one way to educate yourself so as to not remain ignorant; discuss, observe, and absorb.
