Cell phones in a movie theater

Why is it so incredibly important to a person who has paid $10 to go see an Oscar nominated film to check their phone 100 times, giggle, blind the person behind them (me) with the beaming little screen, and text message incessantly over the course of two hours with the extremely loud buttons? Why even bother seeing the film? 13+ people in the theater over the age of 17 talking about ridiculous stuff when someone being professionally hit on screen doesn’t interest them. Absurdity. Sorry, that just irritated me...and it is confusing.

The movie was Michael Clayton. Often the audiences are fairly repectable in regards to talking. We don't seem to have that issue here. It's just those cell phones. The tickets are $5.50, but everyone loves butter drizzled popcorn so I alter the price for that. A screenplay writer? At the moment that seems thoroughly attractive. I should probably start jotting down ideas about how to kill everyone who fiddles with electronic devices during an interesting film. :)

Look on the brightside, Alex: When you're a director/screenplay writer, you can write it so the nuances would be catastrated in the theatre ^^

Like the people who think outloud. "OMG DID YOU SEE THAT?" "WHERE'S HE GOING?!" "Omg she's cute!" "Oh hey! That didn't happen in the book!" Ugggghhh.
