Burial...cremation?

What is your preference? Your funeral arrangements. I found it odd the other day that I was the only one in a large group of people that wanted to be cremated. Any unusual plans or requests after you die? What are your reasons behind your decisions?

I buried my 17 year old niece a few months back and we all wore flip flops to the funeral in honor of her life. she was always in flip flops even in the winter. haha I agree with you that death should be a celebration of life and not all the doom and gloom. I hope people dance on my grave and give me a grand party. :) Don't cry for me, I'm going to meet my maker!!! Dance of joy.

My twin wants to break into a strangers house and hide in there closet and die. that way a perfectly good stranger will be fucked up when he discovers a rotting corpse in his closet.

As for the funeral. I don't understand the tradition of black and mourning. That's just a depressing last spin on someone's life. I believe I have it written down somewhere that I want my ashes to be scattered in the Mohave desert and that black clothing is to be prohibited. I want neon colors and clown shoes. :) I think the whole affair should be the celebration of the person's life, not the mourning of their death. Plus I can't stand when people cry, it disturbs me greatly.
