HELP!!!!

I need some advice.. ok, so my brother calls me up totally desperate to borrow money from me and I agreed to loan it to him. He came over and I gave him the money but he kept asking me about borrowing some of my movies (1 of which hadn't even been opened) and a video game I bought my husband for Christmas on our 1st together as a married couple. I told him no because I already loaned him money and he didn't bring back the movies he borrowed last time. Meanwhile, my baby was sick; really sick and I thought I may even have to take him to the hospital. So... while I was upstairs taking care of my sick baby w/a bad fever, my brother let himself out.. stealing the movies and video game he asked about on his way out the door. I think this is the lowest you can get but I haven't confronted him yet cuz I don't know what to say.. Advice???

Family is still family, and I don't feel it is right to steal from anyone, but especially not family, but, to call the police on family, is just as low, unless your life is in danger. There are always alternatives.

Well, stealing is something just as bad as being a lowlife. I love my family but if they stole from me, I'm looking at this as they are older and live out there in the real world, I would call the cops. If they have the audacity to steal from someone they know...much less family they are just a criminal. Obviously, they have done this before and they don't care if you sit down and talk to them. Sometimes a kick in the ass with justice will do the trick.

If he stole from you, thats the end of that. I wouldn't call the cops over something that petty, but That would be the end of any kind of decent relationship. I would make him earn my trust before ever comin around again, that's for sure

well tell him you want theem back and how much thay mean to you, if he denies it or want give theem back tell your husband and let him deal with him but next tiem do not trust him, dont laon him nothing any more, let him deal with stuff on his own cals its apaent that he dont respect you. i hope your baby is ok and that god blesses yall, well i got to get to bed but i would pray about it if i was you, the baby and with your brother. well take care god bless and congrats on yalls one year together
