Share your delusions of grandeur.

One of mine will occur after hearing something that directly affects the state of the United States. I'll stop realizing that I am in "reality," and I will see myself inside Congress, which is in quite a commotion. I find myself standing and yelling, asking the whole group if I am the only one who truly cares about the future.

I think the rules don't apply to me. I think that Karma ignores me. I think that cops turn their heads when I run stop signs; I think that I don't adopt virtues I invent them. I am das uber mensch!

Delusions of grandeur...Often in any class I'll just suddenly dream that I stand up and explain something in full articulate detail. Instead of this, I can characteristically be found hunching silently in the back taking notes to such an extreme that I must resemble Igor…it would be nice to be able to prove that I'm in possession of a functional brain and that I’m not an unintelligent mute, and thus the basis of the fantasy’s appeal. These are odd, but escaping into fairytale land is fun. Haha. And of course, like many people, I have quite a few where I tell off various politicians.

there is a reason why evil lurks in congress, it seeks them out and slips in gradually without notice and poisons the well, like spiked punch at a preteen dance, just a little fire water in the sherbert and sprite and the whole auditorium can't think clearly

Do you find your life benefits from such delusions, or are you hampered by it, or no noticable effect? For me, right now I can't notice an effect, but if my mental twitches get worse (because even right now I question whether my body exists, or if I am a really warped machine in virtual reality) I could see it being a problem...

It's giving me feelings of something occuring before my human existence for me to exist currently. I can only describe it as encounters and perhaps even conversations? Who knows, who cares.

No, nobody else is fucked in the head? Has anyone ever experienced a very weird, fuzzy "memory?" To me, it just seems like things happening, almost the course I was on before birth... if that makes any sense. Like once, I asked "God" why I am forced to learn, and I received a visual thought of someone explaining why knowledge is close-to-evil, but still a figure (me?) responds "but... I... want... to... learn."
