Should I tell him that I like him?

ok so I've liked this guy practically 8 1/2 years, we're in Middle School and we're really good friends. He used to know I liked him but I decided that I wasn't really sure that I liked him. So I though and I eventually that I did actually like him. We get along great, we always have. Everybody says we'd make a great cute couple but I'm not sure if he likes me back. He never really acted like he lked me but for about a week he said he liked trhis girl, now he basically hates her but he acts exactly the same as he did before so what do you think? should I take the risk of possiably getting crushed, and ask him if he likes me and tell him that I like him, or should I keep it bottled up between me and my 2 best friends?

soo i told him.....to find out exactly what happened look at my pro theres a story called story of a crush and things along the way....theres part 1 and im working on part 2, so it should be done in about half an hour...

ok so i told his bff and he said tht mk likes som1 hes just not sure who. im not goingf to the dance cuz i found out its totally formal and i h8 dresses and i cant/dont/h8 dancing anyway i know that this one other girl likes him too and his bff said tht he mostly thinks shes odd but he doesnt like her like that. now we have new seating charts and it sucks cuz now well i dont even know where he sits anymore. anyway i gotta go ill check back in a few days.

ok yes i am in middle school but i couldnt possably make my grades any better than they already are cuz i already have a 3.95 and i dont really care if i have a 4.0 cuz well i just dont, and i never said i loved him its not like im friggin planning our wedding jeez i only said that i liked him,...i dont mean to sound bitchy but well idk i just feel really crappy right now so plz dont just think im a bitch
