MATH TWISTER - drive yourself crazy with this one
3 girls go on vacation together and get a room in a cheap motel.
The room cost is $30.00
Each girl pays $10.00 a piece.
10 x 3= 30
After they get to their room, the manager notices that they weren’t given the special rate of the day ($25.00) and instructs the bellhop to take them their $5.00 change.
On the way to the room he figures he can’t split the $5.00 evenly between the three girls, so opts to keep $2.00 for himself and only give the girls $3.00 back as change (I.E.$1.00 per girl)
That means that each girl has now paid $9.00 a piece for the room
9x3=27 plus the $2.00 the bellhop kept for a tip = $29.00
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OTHER DOLLAR???
