Safe Sex Or No Sex?

The public education system has two different methods of presenting 'sex ed'...if sex ed is taught at all. One method, presents the risks of sex, is often very factual, and also shows the various methods of practicing 'safe sex'. The other method, is focused on abstinence. Which one is better? Which one is more effective, and should be used more often?

actually i found out through a friend, which is probably what made me even more upset. but he admitted everything. he cried. i felt so bad. i guess i was lucky too.
